Unleash Peak Health

My journey into massage therapy began out of necessity. Years of physical work and activities have taught me firsthand what it feels like to carry tension, push through soreness, and need a way to recover. Massage became more than an occasional luxury; it became an essential part of keeping me moving and doing the things I love. That personal experience inspired me to become a licensed massage therapist and share with others something that has made such a meaningful difference in my own life.

My approach to bodywork is rooted in that understanding. I draw from a range of modalities, adapting each session to the individual rather than following a rigid formula. I believe effective bodywork is a conversation between the practitioner and the body: observe, respond, adjust, and allow the work to unfold naturally. My goal is to help others find the same relief, freedom of movement, and renewed sense of well-being that first led me to this work.

When I'm not doing bodywork, you'll probably find me falling off my mountain unicycle, tinkering with Linux servers and network engineering projects, taking my dog into the mountains for a day of getting gloriously lost, or treating my to with my homemade soap and vinegar. I enjoy the balance between technical problem-solving, physical adventure, and the simple freedom of being out in nature. When it's time to slow down, I turn to yoga to unwind, reconnect, and find a little stillness. I suppose I appreciate both sides of life: pushing my limits and learning when to let go.

Mountain unicycling, tower climbing, and a few hard lessons along the way—including a broken pelvis—have given me a firsthand appreciation for what the body can endure. I've spent much of my life pursuing physical challenges, learning to work through discomfort, and discovering what it means to live in a body that doesn't always feel its best. Along the way, I've come to understand that pain is more than a sensation; it can shape how we move, how we live, and how much we enjoy the things that matter to us.

I've also experienced the difference that massage can make. It's not simply about easing sore muscles for an hour; it's about getting back to yourself, moving a little more freely, and making life feel more manageable. That perspective is something I bring to every session. I know what it's like to need relief, and I believe everyone deserves the opportunity to feel more comfortable in their own body.
